New Additions:<\/strong> Introducing Temporary Grounding( TG )covering TMU, incidents\/accidents, and post-flight BA miss (First instance Only<\/p>\r\n\r\n 5. Benevolent Cover :<\/strong> <\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/strong>6. Cover during unemployment <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n 7. Refund Policy:<\/strong> Benevolent premium at the rate of Rs 72,000 per year<\/strong> would be refunded with a 6% simple interest on accumulated fund upon retirement at 65 years of age or if opted to exit after 10 years if no claim availed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n 9. Immediate Coverage:<\/strong> NO cooling-off period <\/p>\r\n\r\n 10. Future Cover Augmentation<\/strong> :<\/strong> With a rise in membership, coverage may be augmented with inclusion of full net salary protection due suspension, termination or any displinary action till reinstatement of employment or new employment is secured with some upper limit of months\/years.<\/p>\r\n\r\n Membership Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n 2. Pilots with pre-existing medical conditions are NOT excluded from ALPA membership. However, all pre-existing medical conditions that have led to a medical grounding must be notified to ALPA-India at the time of registration. <\/p>\r\n\r\n 3. Enrolment to the benevolent fund would be subject to the approval of the ALPA Management Committee and Medical Panel. <\/p>\r\n\r\n 4. If you get medically grounded (TMU or PMU), Temporary grounding due accident\/incident, or BA positive or Miss, during the course of your ALPA Membership, it should be intimated to the ALPA office from your registered e-mail id to info@alpaindia.org<\/a> with a cc to office@alpaindia.org<\/a>, gensec@alpaindia.org<\/a> <\/a>with all supporting documents<\/p>\r\n\r\n 5. For Pilots flying with a foreign license, please upload your respective countries' medical of the last 3 years through your profile on the ALPA India website. <\/p>\r\n\r\n 6. All necessary documents are required to be uploaded through your profile only.
